Throughout Scripture it is encouraged to meet outside of church (Acts 2:42-47) in smaller communities. Community is deeply grounded in the nature of God. It flows from who God is. Because he is community, he creates community. A community can be anything more than three meeting to encourage, fellowship, pray, etc. God himself is a community (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). The Christian Community is a gift from God, and at CCC we use this gift as a way to engage in life together through teaching, fellowship, and prayer, etc.
At CCC, we discuss the sermon from the previous week and look at the life applications. We are there for each other, in the Word as well as in fellowship, encouragement, love, prayer. We consider it a privilege to meet together and discuss His word and what we can do to further the Word and make disciples.
At CCC we are currently meeting on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in meeting room 4, but are hoping to get groups started on other nights of the week.
